This year, the University of Zurich in Switzerland is opening its doors for us to host our EVSO® 2018 continuing Education Day !
Two different and complementary approaches will be exposed on subjects that concern us all in our daily practice : lameness.
We will have the chance to welcome two renowned classical veterinarians, Dr Daniel Koch for the dogs and Dr Andy Bathe for the horses.
Daniel Koch practices in Switzerland, in a referral clinic for small animals. Talented lecturer, always at the cutting edge of progress, his pedagogy is clear and precise, he is the author of numerous scientific articles and a book dedicated to dog orthopaedics. A second book is being published.
Andy Bathe, from Rossdales Equine Hospital in Newmarket, UK is an equine veterinarian very active in the field of jumping and eventing competition. He is the author of numerous publications and is always a much appreciated lecturer.
We are also pleased to welcome colleagues recognized in their practice of osteopathic and classical veterinary medicine:
Drs Fabrice Fosse and Jean-Philippe Liot for small animals and Drs Larissa Vicart, Stephan Scheidegger and Christian Struchen for horses.
The morning will be devoted to the dog's lameness, on exciting subjects such as dysplasia of the elbow or biomechanical exploration of the lumbo-sacro-pelvic region. In the afternoon we will discuss performance loss problems and complex lameness in horses related to the back, pelvis and proximal region of the hind legs.
Everyone will bring their point of view. These exchanges promise to be exciting and informative !
The conferentials will be presented to you with more details at next mailings, as well as on our Facebook page and our website www.evso.eu.
